So, just an explanation as to why I haven't posted details of our exciting announcement...b/c it's not for lack of desire. I REALLY want to post this story...I'm so excited to share it.
But...between being tired and sick, (It's all I can do to wash dishes...forget about vacuuming, while watching/playing with a two year old. I have been sicker this time than with The Bug...whoopee.) and substitute teaching, I've been busy.
A teacher I used to teach with had an unfortunate emergency in her family and I have been teaching her classes since August 30th. She did start coming back two days a week for the last 5 weeks, but still...I've been teaching pretty much full time for the last 7 weeks. I was hoping to finish up Oct 8th, but they've had some more issues in her class, so I'm helping out for another 2 or 3 days this week. I soooo don't need to have a full-time job outside of the home. I'm so grateful I have a husband with a job that allows me to stay home.
So...I'm exhausted and sick after teaching all day, and I still need to give my sweet little monster attention and try and keep the house from being run over with dirty dishes and laundry...again...forget about the dirt and dog hair...it's amazing what you become more tolerant of when you feel like throwing up all the time.
And...on top of this, I'm still the Ward Nursery Leader with (no joke) 20 kids, and was just recently called as the Stake Young Women's 1st Counselor. I'm also helping lead our ward choir, while our choir director is out of town, and I'm coordinating a Stake Youth musical number for our Stake Conference in about 3 weeks. Oh yeah...and I've agreed to be the Co-chairperson for our local Imagination Library and had a two day conference in Anchorage this last weekend for training.
Have I mentioned I'm EXHAUSTED and NAUSEOUS?! It's way worse than with The Bug...I just hope it ends in about 1-2 weeks like it did before. Please let it be done soon.
I'm not sure how my mom coped with throwing up every day, multiple times a day, for 9 months and 6 kids!
So...I'm hoping I'll have all the fun little ultrasound pics scanned in and I can tell the wonderful miraculous story of this pregnancy this weekend.
But...I make no promises.
P.S. Can I just say...Shayne has been awesome through all this. He empties my dish washer whenever it needs emptied, and then fills it again. He also tries to find things for me to eat that I don't gag over...which is so nice. He also knows he's The Man when he's home with The Bug...so I can get a break and lay down. Even though he feels bad I'm sick...he's sorta glad at the same time, b/c it means I'm still pregnant. He refers to it as..."I'm taking one for the team." Really? As long as he's emptying my dishwasher, I don't care. :)
