Tiny kept stopping and bending over putting her head on the ground...not sure why but it made us laugh.  :)

So, my old roommate Suz came to visit!  She was my roommate in St. George and is one of my favorite people.  I have a lot of good and fun memories living with her.  She was my last roommate before I got married.

Anyway, she worked at a hunting/fishing lodge in Port Allsworth, AK for the summer and one her way out of Alaska came down for 3-4 days to visit me and my family.

It was so much fun to have her to visit.  Shayne loved being able to talk sports and more specifically coaching basketball, b/c Suz and coached in high school and in college.  I loved having her around to just chat with.  My kids LOVED having her around to play with.  She seriously is AMAZING (that's for you Karen) with my kids.  She played with them, she read to them, she just loved being around them, and I loved that about having Suz around.

I was worried she would be bored, b/c we are pretty low key at our house...we don't do a whole lot.  But, she was studying to take her GRE, so I think she needed some low key down time.  On one nice day I took her and the kids to Kasilof Beach to wander around and look for seashells and play with beached jellyfish.

It was seriously so nice to have her visit for a few days.  She's on to Virginia Tech to work on her PhD so I don't think I'll see her much unless I move closer.  So it was nice to see her even it was only for 3-4 days.

Thanks for coming Suz!  We loved having you and hope you can come again someday.  :)
