“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”

Helper Holdan

On Thursday my mom had to watch Holdan, my sister Maysi's little boy. He was born about 3 months before Lachlan, so he was getting ready to have his first birthday on June 20th. Anyway...he thought he would be a good helper and push Lachlan around in the the walker my mom has. Yes...I know about the safety issues of walkers...but we all grew up in them, and we turned out fine...I think! :)

Actually, Holdan didn't want to help so much as he wanted in the walker. Nevermind he is walking on his own...the walker is so much more fun! So, he was actually trying to get Lachlan out so he could get it. Too funny! I ended up having to leave for a bit and so my poor mom was left with these 2 babies, and then my sister Shancy showed up with her little boy who's a month younger than Lachlan! Yup...3 little boys for my mom and Shancy to watch. But they had fun, and the little boys all had fun chewing and rolling around together. Wait...my little blob doesn't roll...but Shancy's does! :)

The other pic is Grandpa Price playing with Lachlan. My dad is a very hands on, rough-ya-around, sorta grandpa. Some of the grandkids are used to it, other's...not so much...but Lachlan warmed up to him pretty quick and started playing with Grandpa. My dad loves it when they play back...so he thought Lachlan was pretty funny.
