“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”~Elder Neal A. Maxwell~

New Bird Feeder Visitor
We love having bird feeders we can see out our kitchen window in the winter b/c we get quite a few species of small birds visiting it and it's fun for us and the kids to see them.
We also feed two different squirrels from these bird feeders...and that's ok too. We like the squirrels, except when they try and hunt the birds. Not kidding. They hunt our little birds...but that's another story.
However...we never expected to see an animal quite this large visiting our bird feeder. Needless to say I couldn't find him in our Alaskan Bird Book we keep by the window. :)
Shordy and I were amazed when this big guy showed up and started nosing the bird feeder and snuffling up the seeds on the ground. Shordy kept telling me it was Thidwick eating the bird's food. Ha! Gotta love Dr. Seuss! :)
Anyway...It sure was fun watching him for the 10-15 minutes he hung out there.
Huh...gotta love living in Alaska!
