“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”

Playin' in the snow...with visitors

So, after the massive snow storm we had this past weekend, we had to go out and have some sort of fun in it...right?

So, while Tiny was asleep, Shordy and I went out and did some shoveling, had a snow ball fight, attempted to make a snowman (I hate this cold weather that freezes all the moisture out of the snow leaving it dry and powdery), munched on the powdery snow, and watched the moose that decided to hang out in our yard and munch on the trees.

The moose were actually across the street eating trees at first.  So, I went to our pop-up camper to shovel some of the snow off the top and while doing that the 2 moose decided to cross the road, and headed right to where we were at.  So, I quickly got Shordy and his little shovel he was shoveling with, and we headed to the deck until the moose decided exactly where they wanted to chill and eat.  One went behind the house and the other went through both our yards and hung out near the garage.

It was fun watching them and then taking pics of my Shordy boy.  He's been so much fun this year outside.  he can actually walk in the snow, makes snowballs, and enjoys being outside.  Just wish it was warmer...though I can't complain.  At least it's about -10 degrees, which is what our high was for like 3 weeks in January...not even exaggerating.  That was our high for 3 weeks...now just imagine what our low was.  Not good.

So...I'm not gonna complain about 10-20 degree weather during the day...that's 30 degrees warmer than it has been.   :)

Anyway...we had a fun hour outside enjoying some sunshine, the snow, and our visitors.
