“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”~Elder Neal A. Maxwell~

Christmas Train
Shayne's Grandma Gerth called up one day and said she had found a little Christmas Train in her Christmas stuff and asked if Shordy would maybe like it.
Are you kidding me?! This kid LOVES trains. He has a wooden train set he got from his Nana & Bumpa Price for Christmas a couple of years ago, and he plays with it almost every day. So...of course I said he would be ecstatic to have it.
So, she sent it up and like I figured...he loved it.
He and his dad set it up in the new playroom we made for the kids, and he sat and played with it for quite awhile.
Thank you Great-Grams for the Christmas train...it will be set up every year during Christmas for as long as we can keep it running.
p.s. Yes...Shayne gave up his fly-tying room. We moved his fly-tying desk upstairs to our bedroom with the computer as well and brought all the bookcases downstairs. We also moved the futon Shordy was sleeping on downstairs and the queen bed in Shayne's room up to Shordy's room. So...now Shordy and Tiny have a play room to help keep the toys contained and we are also able to keep that room warmer with a little space heater...which is seriously important during the nasty sub-zero cold spells in our not-so-warm house. I wonder why we didn't do this sooner...my front room is MUCH cleaner! Yeah for me!!
