“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”~Elder Neal A. Maxwell~

Walmart Santa
So, the Ford Dealership was having a Saturday where Santa came and the kids could take a cool pic of him in the back of a Ford Truck and they got a little present too. Well...we showed up toward the end of the time he was going to be there and we found out that EVERY kid on the Kenai Peninsula was there as well. the line was ridiculously long!! EVERY kid...not kidding.
So...we found out there happened to be another Santa...how does he do that...at the local Walmart about 1/4 mile away. When I called the Walmart and asked how long the line there was, she informed me there was no line. Uh...no line? Oh ya...all the kids are over at the Ford dealership.
Needless to say, we left the 2 hour long line, and went to Walmart and saw this friendly little Santa.
So...he's not in the back of a Ford Truck...and there are Walmart signs hanging above him...but hey, you can crop pictures right?
And does a 3 year old now the difference between a Ford Santa and a Walmart Santa?
Nope.
So...here's Shordy with his first Santa visit of the season.
And this is Tiny's first Santa visit, ever.
I'm not a huge fan of making Santa the center of Christmas, so I'm not sure how many more times he'll see him but he thought this time was pretty cool.
Which is pretty cool for me. :)
