And what do you know...there was a Bald Eagle playing on the wind currents

Did I mention we have a sick Tiny Girl?  Well, I was pretty wore out from having to hold her and deal with her fevers all day, so when Shayne came home he told me he'd take care of her while I went outside with Shordy, who had been in the house all day too and was ready to go outside.

We are finally starting to lose some of the massive amounts of snow we got this winter...literally record amounts of snow.  So, there are puddles starting to accumulate where we pull in and out of the driveway.  We are pretty excited to actually see dirt in our driveway that gets plowed by the Borough and so was Shordy.

He had his Bog boots on, but when the water comes up almost to your knees you're gonna get water in your boots.  But, it didn't slow down this kid.  He proceeded to walk through the puddle-ruts over and over and over again throwing in rocks and sticks.  He also collected rocks, b/c we haven't seen them all winter!!

Anyway, it was such a nice break to just get outside and enjoy some sunshine, even if there was still a pile of snow.  And Shordy thought so too.  He finally got cold enough to go inside.  When we got back inside I had to strip him almost completely b/c he was soaked clear up to his armpits.  It was pretty funny.

Anyway...

Bring on the Spring and even better...SUMMER!!!
