So, the same place that took The Bug's Halloween photos also did a photo shoot with Santa Claus, so we took him over for a pic.
He was NOT a fan of Santa Claus. He definitely wouldn't sit on his lap, so I tried to hold him while sitting next to Santa. Shayne and the photographer were not successful in getting a smile out of him while I was holding him. So then Shayne took him and sat next to Santa. The Bug was still not wanting anything to do with the big guy with the funky beard, but I did a much better job at distracting him and getting a semi-smile out of him. Now keep in mind, this smile lasted about a millisecond, but the photographer just happened to get it.
So, that's why it's just The Bug & hid dad in the Christmas pic...mom was behind the camera making sure we got a smile. I actually would have been fine with a pic of him screaming...it's just that stage and it's not a big deal to me. But...the smile is pretty cute.
We'll see how he does next year. Should be interesting...to say the least.
