“The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”

Homer

On Saturday, June 27th, we took G & G Gerth to Homer to check out the "Quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem." It boasts the largest natural spit in the world. I'm not talking about a big ole' loogie...I'm taking about a piece of land that juts out from the mainland. They have all kinds of little shops along the spit, along with a deep water dock with hundreds of boats. These pics are from the lookout on the top of the hill before you drive down into Homer. It's a beautiful view...you can see about 6 or 7 glacier's from this viewpoint. So, naturally we had to stop and take some pics. :)
